JOB SUMMARY/工作目的:

Outstanding opportunity to join a global US based manufacturer of bench tools and equipment that are used in electronics and industrial product assembly for over 50 years.  Metcal manufactures products ranging from hand soldering, rework station to PCB rework equipment used by electronics & military industries.  

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for the full Metcal product offering and will be accountable for all sales numbers in the assigned region.  The applicant will need to have experience supervising all aspects of the channel in the region ranging from managing the distribution channel to cultivating new direct accounts.  The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining and growing existing clients by working with limited supervision.  Position is based in Shenzhen, China and requires 50% travel. This position will report to an English speaking manager.

JOB DUTIES/工作职责:
•Expand and Develop the Distribution channel in the region to achieve the sales growth objectives
•Develops, maintains and improves business relations with key accounts by having a visible presence 
•Must be technical and able to demonstrate product and provide application solution support to the customer. 
•Create and implement regional programs with distributors to gain mindshare.
•Conduct analysis of existing business and its profitability.  Build a strategic business plan for the region around market specific industries.
•Ability to use a CRM system to manage territory.
•Work closely with key global accounts to attain corporate approval / AVL status
•Help generate & implement ongoing product training programs at a regional level for the channel
•Support local trade shows and become involved with regional industry associations.
•Work with sales channel to establish best route to market for Metcal product lines.
•Identifies new customers, new distributors and new sales opportunities, initiates action plan to secure new business.
•Collecting market intelligence such as competitor information, customer needs and trend of industrial segment requirements. 
•Dealt with interest conflicts between distributors. 
•Analyze market trends and customer needs while taking action to keep products, programs, pricing and services in line with changing market.
•Any other related task assigned by supervisors. 

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS/工作经验要求:
•Must be sufficient verbal and written English
•Degree or equivalent preferred with 5+ year experience with Electronic Assembly Products selling on both the distribution and manufacturing sides of the business. 
•Established sales professional accountable for all sales numbers in the region.  Must have a proven track record of sales growth.  
•Must be able to meet deadlines, be well organized, and exercise sound judgment concerning distribution and key accounts.  

SKILLS REQUIRED/技能要求:
•Proven record of sales growth with good organizational and strategic selling skills.
•Established relationships and contacts within the industry, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to interact with various management levels.
•Exceptional communications skills, written and verbal; solid proven background on delivering proposals and negotiating deals with corporate management.   
•Ability to evaluate the market and give direction to product management to help grow the business 
•Must be energetic, enthusiastic and punctual.
•Computer skills familiar with Microsoft Windows Environments for reporting purposes, Power Point presentations, pricing and data management.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/学历要求:
•College degree or above major on electronics or economics related
•MBA education is a plus
