The Role:

 The Laser Application Consultant supports laser sales productivity and closure of deal by securing the “technical close” of a laser coding solution.  The incumbent collaborates with the Global Laser team and Sales, Marketing and Service Delivery in Asia to ensure that all activities related to laser application such as requirement gathering, sampling & feasibility, and laser solution meet if not exceed customer expectations.

Principal Activities / Duties / Responsibilities:

• Designated as the primary Point of window for all complex Laser Sample & Feasibility Studies & Laser application for whole Asia.

• Define Markem-Imaje Laser Solutions according to the customer’s requirement.

• Perform application feasibility analyses for sales opportunities involving new and future technology

       对涉及激光新技术和未来技术的销售机会进行应用可行性分析                   

• When no local solution is available, escalate sampling/application request to global and keep touch with global to check each progress

       当本地不能提供样品以及应用的解决方案时，及时提交至总部，并与总部保持沟通，确认项目进度。                               

• Supply high quality technical Laser Sample & Feasibility Reports with complete descriptions of solutions including benefits and weaknesses of each solution tested.

       提供高质量的激光样品和可行性报告，完整描述解决方案，包括解决方案的优点和缺点。 

• Work closely with the Commercial Groups to properly define the scope of work for complex projects, and fully align testing and feasibility priorities with the priorities of the region supported.

       与商务团队密切合作，正确定义复杂项目的工作范围，并将测试和可行性研究优先事项与团队保持一致

• Support EHS laser safety regional lab requirements

Education and/or Experience Required:

• Above bachelor degree in Engineering preferably with Laser or Optical related major

        工程学士以上学历，激光或光学相关专业优先

• At least 2 years related experience in coding industry preferably on Laser coding

        至少2年行业工作经验，激光应用优先

• Must have the ability to work in a team environment and independently

        必须具备在团队环境中独立工作的能力

• Both spoken and written English a MUST.

• Possible travel requirements to customers, exhibition, either local or overseas
