The Role

The RMM will use your strong influencing skills together with your considerable expertise to support the development of the supply chain organization within the China and South East Asia region.  As a key member of the Global Demand Management team, you will be expected to ensure a consistent execution of the MI Materials Management strategy across the region. You will be required to leverage your expertise in championing projects and programs with a focus on inventory, delivery and lead-time optimization.  In addition, you will provide guidance to the regional supply chain, through the development and deployment of multi-year plan which ensures the achievement of the key Global Demand Management goals whist ensuring an ongoing upskilling of the regional supply chain teams.


What you’ll do

  • Lead Inventory Planning Initiatives, facilitating their development through engagement with regional and global colleagues
  • Own the regional S&OP Process ensuring consistent execution of the cycle and strong alignment between global demand and China regional capacity, through the leadership of the demand and supply reviews
  • Project Manage specific global improvement initiatives, together with the global demand team, focused on procurement replenishment and delivery excellence
  • Drive monthly regional root cause reviews encompassing materials management and replenishment.
  • Develop and Deploy global standards across the region promoting a focus on continuous improvement across the execution supply chain
  • Management of the regional deployment of a consistent Plan for Every Part methodology and ensure an ongoing measurable compliance review is in place
  • Consolidate the Regions Inventory and S&OP results communicate to the global team, identifying variances versus the forecast. Drive mitigations to ensure overall attainment of the teams commitments
  • Work closely with regional and global peers to support the development of supply chain competencies across the regional supply chain teams
  • Directly manage one Regional Inventory planned and provide functional guidance to the regions supply chain execution team



What you need to have

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a global or regional supply chain management role
  • 5 years of experience and proven track record in inventory management (regional distribution network)
  • Direct experience of working in a supply chain function within a modern manufacturing organization
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically across the end-to-end value chain
  • Demonstrable experience of successful leadership of supply chain improvement projects
  • Strong ability to influence functional teams to ensure process and organizational development
  • Strong Knowledge of BW, SAP or Power BI as a reporting tool is a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft tools excel (advanced pivot tables and macro)
  • Fluent in English
  • As minimum Bachelor’s in Engineering or Science related subject
  • APICS – CPIM/CSCP Certified
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification Preferable
