SUMMARY:

Solution Delivery Engineers provide on-site project implementation, troubleshooting, training, and customer support services for Systech/CIS products. SDE’s Install, configure, and validate our product functionality and performance against project deliverables. SDE’s are required to act in a professional manner and enhances customer satisfaction.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides on-site start-up support for Systech/CIS CoLOS solution software and Systech equipment, in addition to technical assistance to help troubleshoot and repair equipment.
  • Installs new or modified equipment at customer's facility to ensure full functionality according to specifications, including electrical testing and optical set up.
  • Implement interfaces with external systems.
  • Coordinates problem resolution with engineering, customer support, and other personnel to expedite repairs.
  • Maintains high quality and on time Field Trip Reports.
  • Communicates and alerts PM of all exceptions and/or events that might affect project deliverables.
  • Provides a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure that effective service is provided to the customer.
  • Updates delivered Engineering packages, or provides updated information to the Project Engineer, as needed for “As Built” updates.
  • Validates and makes recommendations to project documentation and project drawings as required.
  • Provides customer documentation including operator guide and updates to standard solution drawings as required. 
  • Develops and conducts customer training on the safe operation of Systech/CIS solutions.
  • Follows all necessary compliance with safety regulations and knowledge of FDA regulations and standards or familiarity with quality standards like ISO9001.
  • Understand Systech/CIS service delivery methodology and acts as the first line of customer contact and the owner of customer relationships
  • Significant coordination with customers and OEM partner companies is required
  • Follows all necessary compliance and all safety regulations.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Background in Engineering, including PC and PLC, automation based systems
  • Computer Skills and aptitude for quickly learning new software tools and computer hardware
  • Is knowledgeable in packaging industry automation products, and is able to install, configure, and validate performance of Systech/CIS product against project deliverables
  • Understanding of service delivery methodology
  • Must be fluent in English, multi-lingual is preferred
  • Knowledge in AutoCAD, MS Visio, and flow documentation tools.
  • Acts in a professional manner and enhances customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels for the organization
  • Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment
  • Direct customer interface experience
  • Documentation skills

REQUIREMENTS

  • The position involves approximately 50% - 75% of travel. This includes multi week trips away from home. 75% to 85% of work involves traveling to customer sites, all involving air travel.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor or comparable degree in Engineering (Electrical, Software, Computer, or Automation)
  • Experience with packaging line equipment, preferably in pharmaceutical and/or FMCG industries

· Proven track record of installing solutions across multiple sites and or countries.

· Microsoft Workflow or Visual Basic process flow programming tool

· .NET architecture

· MS SQL Databases and ODBC

· Communication with PLC systems and OPC

· TCP/IP

· MS SQL OS/Windows OS

· Crystal or SQL Reports

· Microsoft Office 365 applications skills
