The Role

The Sourcing Analyst is responsible for sourcing strategy execution, data management & documentation of assigned categories/sub-categories, support on saving roadmap realization and other tactic focus.

 

 

What you’ll do

Strategic Tasks:

  • Participate and support the sourcing strategy definition of assigned categories/sub-categories.
  • Participate and support the saving roadmap definition of assigned categories/sub-categories.
  • Collaborate with GCM /GCL to realize/optimize the spend management and saving opportunities identification.
  • Participate and support the total cost ownership analysis of sourcing projects.
  • Innovate and optimize the sourcing data/document management.

Execution Tasks:

  • Execute the sourcing strategy and collaborate with GCM /GCL on result driven.
  • Manage and ensure the accuracy of the ERP data related with assigned categories/sub-categories.
  • Conduct the RfI/RfP/RfQ of sourcing projects, collect the commercial data for sourcing decision making. Preliminary analyze the offers and provide the proposal on total cost ownership.
  • Execute and optimize the document management and control, such as contracts/ agreements, RfI/RfP/RfQ package, offers, pricing records, sample orders, and other purchasing commercial documents/records.
  • Follow up the implementation activities of sourcing projects with suppliers and SDE. Report the discrepancies of execution to GCM/GCL.
  • Monitor the data/documents in public or share folders for assigned categories/sub-categories. Ensure the completion and accuracy of project management documents following the sourcing process.
  • Part of the Procure to Pay process for indirect, following indirect sourcing policy

Supporting Tasks:

  • Support on the supply base management with cross functional team (GCM/GCL, SDE, SCM, Quality, etc).
  • Support on supplier risk management and report the discrepancies or changes GCM/GCL.
  • Deal with the supplier relationship management (local). Support on partnership buildup.

Analysis and Reporting Tasks:

  • Ensure proper ERP data for regular reporting.
  • Prepare the compliance report of sourcing project management.

  • Other jobs which is assigned by supervisor.

 

 

What you need to have

Functional skills:

  • Well understanding on concept and knowledge of sourcing for assigned categories/sub-categories, including process, tools, negotiation, benchmarking, analysis, etc.
  • Solid knowledge and experiences in supplier base management of assigned categories/sub-categories.
  • Excellent data analysis capability and reporting.
  • ERP user, i.e. SAP

 

Personal skills:

  • Excellent business skill, proactive, self-driven and result oriented.
  • Team player, skills for change management and positive to conflict.
  • Work on high pressure and be skilled for reporting and escalation.
  • Proactive and focus on continuous improvement.
  • Good communication/negotiation skills.

 

Education and Experience:

  • 3-year-experience or more in position concerning with purchasing/sourcing/procurement/supply chain management.
  • Fluent English mandatory (equivalent to level B2 minimum under CECR classification)
  • Associate and/or bachelor is required, major in engineering/industry is plus
