Assembler 1 £12.80 per hour
Physical Work Requirements:
- Standing 8-10 hours
- Bending
- Reaching
- Pushing/pulling
- Squatting
- Must be able to use adhesives, paint, lubricants, cleaning agents, resin, etc.
- Small hand tools
- Lifting 25 lbs./11 KG frequently.
- Work in manufacturing environment, including non-air condition
Responsibilities:
- Self-directed, motivated and able to work as a team or alone.
- Attend all required training.
- Adhere to safety procedures at all times, including wearing all required PPE.
- Address all quality and safety concerns via the appropriate channels for an assigned cell.
- Keep work station clean, orderly and free of safety hazards at all times.
- Actively participate in all department projects, tasks and objectives.
- Maintain the highest ethical standards.
- Must be able to use all required tools in an assigned work area.
- Sustain an acceptable attendance record.
- Adhere to all required company policies.
- Keep supervisor(s) informed of cell actives regarding but not limited to: quality, personal, parts supply, safety, cost, and on time delivery.
- Performs mechanical assembly typically of high complexity with great attention to detail while working in very close tolerances.
- Safely work in a high pressure work environment.
- May include a moderate complexity level of trouble shooting.
- Work with and have a functional knowledge of: power, pneumatic, mechanical hand tools, associated electronic devices, and associated testing equipment.
- Read and accurately follow standard Work Instructions.
- Read blueprints/technical drawings
- Perform materials and product inspection as required.
- Meet/maintain daily production rates & goals.
- Utilization of Lean Tools in order to improve the production process.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be able to work overtime as required
- Fine and gross motor skills
- Detail Oriented.
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Must be able to wear/use all required PPE.
