Machinist £15.05 per hour
Physical Work Requirements:

Responsibilities:
- Self-directed, motivated and able to work as a team or alone.
- Attend all required training.
- Adhere to safety procedures at all times, including wearing all required PPE.
- Address all quality and safety concerns via the appropriate channels for an assigned cell.
- Keep work station clean, orderly and free of safety hazards at all times.
- Actively participate in all department projects, tasks and objectives.
- Maintain the highest ethical standards.
- Must be able to use all required tools in an assigned work area.
- Sustain an acceptable attendance record.
- Adhere to all required company policies.
- Keep supervisor(s) informed of cell actives regarding but not limited to: quality, personal, parts supply, safety, cost, and on time delivery.
- Set up and operate CNC horizontals, lathes and twin spindles.
- Understands and has knowledge related to using Fanuc, Okuma, Mitsubihi and/or applicable machine controls to adjust offsets and change programs.
- Read detailed blueprints.
- Run parts to print.
- Gauge parts and document critical dimensions every hour.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be able to work overtime as required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years CNC machining experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic math skills (subtraction, addition, decimals, fractions, conversions).
- Basic knowledge of blueprint reading skills and ability to apply them.
- Demonstrated skills using basic measurement tools (i.e. calipers, micrometers and scale)
- Must be able to wear all required PPE.
