Marketing Assistant

 

 

OPW (a Dover company) is currently seeking a full-time Marketing Assistant for its EMEA Marketing team (responsible for the OPW, Fibrelite and KPS brand), based in Skipton, North Yorkshire. This role has hands-on exposure to various aspects of Marketing including copywriting and content creation, website development, advertising, direct Marketing, trade show organising, e-Marketing and social media campaigns as well as Google analytics and campaign effectiveness evaluation. Qualified candidates must be dynamic, extremely well organised, ambitious, adaptable and keen to learn.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist with all aspects of effective Marketing campaign planning and execution, including writing effective copy for print and online media, email Marketing and websites
  • PR campaigns including content promotion and building relationships with key trade publications
  • Corporate and distributor communications
  • Meeting coordination and management
  • Management and creation of promotional material including literature
  • Website content maintenance 
  • Email Marketing implementation
  • Email database management (GDPR)
  • Market research, data analysis and reporting
  • Copywriting: online, offline, promotional and informative
  • Social media Marketing
  • Creation of case study material to maximise PR and SEO opportunities
  • Assist with all aspects of event Marketing from pre-event promotion through coordination and planning to setup and delivery
  • Identifying new markets and new key players

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, in Marketing or a related subject
  • 2-3 years industry experience
  • High calibre of written and spoken English

 

Essential Skills

  • Good organisational and analytical skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple on-going projects
  • Ability to work effectively as a key member of the international Marketing and sales team 
  • Ability to execute agreed plans and deliver results to tight deadlines while monitoring performance against set objectives and targets
  • Social media Marketing (B2B preferable)
  • Working knowledge of CRM software (ideally Salesforce), Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferable
  • Marketing automation experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative, as well as operate effectively as part of a team
  • Thorough, diligent and an excellent eye for detail
