-Assist Supervisor with fundamental warehouse needs, including but not limited to loading, forklift operation and supporting any balance of an incomplete workflow.

-Responsible for proper handling of materials and adherence to safety procedures.

-Providing accurate and timely shipments.

-Utilize and assign associates where needed to ensure maximum efficiency and attainment of efficiency standards.

-Perform required shipping audits (Pack Lists/Bills of Lading).

-Responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy in designated areas.

-Responsible for consolidation of product that may be in multiple locations and ensure that all product is labeled and identified according to OPW’s standard work.

-Assist in training of new employees with regard to replenishment, material handling and/or other loading job functions.

-Comply with safety policies and procedures and ensure that all associates work safely.

-Review Sales Order Backlog and Cell Pull Demand Reports to ensure timely shipments.

-Ensure timely and accurate material and shipping transactions.

-Assist with warehouse and storage layouts and ensure that material is stored, replenished and relieved in a consistent manner.

-Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications, Requirements, and Essential Job Functions:

-High School Diploma or GED.

-Minimum of 5 years previous warehouse experience and/or two years previous Team Lead experience and combination of warehouse experience.

-Ability to lift 75 pounds frequently and repetitively over the course of a shift.

-Must be able to sit/walk/stand for up to 10 hours a day and be involved with shipping activities on the warehouse floor throughout the required shift.

-Basic computer skills such as Excel, Word and Outlook preferred (basic Oracle experience is a plus).

-Must be extremely organized and detail oriented.

-Must have a positive attitude and be committed to achieving business excellence.

-Ability to use independent thinking and decision making skills.

-Must have effective communication skills, both verbal and written.  Must be able to clearly and concisely articulate and relay information in a positive manner.

-Forklift and scan gun experience is a plus.

-Satisfactory completion of a 90 day review program.

-No history of repeated or severe disciplinary action for violation of OPW company policy.

-Satisfactory completion of all required training programs.

-Ability to work adjusted shift times and work overtime to accommodate production/project needs.  Working weekends may be required.
