Primary Responsibility

  • Assist in training shipping level 1 or 2 employees
  • Assisst customer service, carriers and customers with shipment needs
  • Reconcile sales order back log report
  • Contact and schedule freight carriers
  • Provide shipping efficiency reports
  • Maintain freight claim processing report
  • Safely and accurately pick and pack products for shipment as needed
  • Process packages through shipping carriers systems such as FED-X and UPS as needed
  • Perform audit of shipments prior to shipping as needed
  • Liase with Customer Service to ensure timely and accurate customer shipments
  • Maintain accuate inventory
  • Assist with inventory consolidation as needed
  • Accurately utilize KanBan systems
  • Utilize electronic shipping equipment such as scan guns and computer
  • Other Duties as Assigned

 

 

Qualifications/Experience Requirements:

 

  • High School Diploma
  • Demonstrated proficiency with both international and domestic shipments
  • Ability to read/write/comprehend English
  • Proficient computer skills (Excel/Windows) (Pivot Tables)
  • Proficient in Oracle inventory, shipping, and receiving modules.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment and computer scan guns
  • Must have effective communication – verbal and written, communication skills – clear, concise, and positive.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds periodically
  • Must be able to sit/walk/stand for up to 10 hours a day, and be involved with shipping activities on the warehouse floor throughout the required shift.
  • Must have a positive attitude & be committed to achieving business excellence.
