Job Title:        Division Controller            

Location:        Colonial Heights, VA             



What we are looking for:


We are looking for a Division Controller who will be responsible for leading and overseeing the manufacturing division’s accounting function including financial statements, budgets, forecasts and plans.


What you will be responsible for in this role:


  • Focus is on manufacturing results including inventory and costs
  • Assuring compliance with GAAP
  • Responsibilities extend to internal controls for both plant operations as well as sales and finance
  • Review and development of all bills of materials and manufacturing cost standards
  • Also responsible for timely, accurate and complete financial reporting
  • Implementing and enforcing internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, manufacturing cost management, and accounting
  • Ensuring timely month-end close. Preparation and tracking of budgets and manufacturing costs


What are the basic qualifications?


  • BA/BS degree in Accounting or related field
  • 10 years of relevant manufacturing cost and company financial accounting experience

  • Manufacturing cost accounting experience is critical.
  • Strong attention to detail and advanced Excel skills and proficient in Word and PowerPoint are desired.
