Job Title:              Shortage Coordinator 

FLSA Status:       Non-Exempt/Full-time

Location:              South Chesterfield, VA - Plant 1

Reports To:         Production Supervisor

 

 

Position Summary:

 

To coordinate and expedite movement of parts needed to complete building Hillphoenix cases through the assembly process. 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Chase and complete parts from the shortage list.
  • Pull and stage parts that are in stock and update the shortage list.
  • Reorder parts that are needed through the AS400 system.
  • Coordinate with other departments to complete shortage list.
  • Note and remove any listed items from the current shortages sheet that were received.
  • Review any outstanding issues from previous shifts.
  • Update department Supervisor and Lead on shortage parts status.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task when faced with requests, demands, and deadlines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • HS Diploma/GED

 

 

Essential physical/environmental requirements: 

  • May be required to perform specific tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting or kneeling.
  • Must be able to lift with or without mechanical aids on a recurring basis (up to 50 lbs)
  • Work is performed within a production environment, subject to temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise levels and dust. 
  • Must be able to adapt to changing situations
  • Possess the ability to work overtime on short notice
  • Assume other activities and responsibilities from time-to time as directed by supervision
