We are seeking a talented and experienced individual for the Sr. Manager, Supply Chain position at Dover Fueling Solutions. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated professional with proven leadership experience. The Sr. Manager of Supply Chain develops and executes business strategy that delivers value through total cost of ownership solutions and helps ensure organization has a reliable supply chain. The Sr. Manager, Supply Chain builds an innovative, visionary and strategic 1-3 year roadmap for sourcing that align business strategies. Lead the team to deliver on costing goals and drive financial results for the business. Through creative thought leadership, help teams build negotiation plans and understand varied negotiation levers to optimize value and outcomes across Electrical and Electronic categories, including sourcing of components for Electronic Vehicle (EV) Charging System. Understand financials of business and creatively influence balancing cost, quality, and efficiency to improve sales and profitability, and drive best value. This role will require travel up to 25 % Global Travel.
Responsibilities:

Serves our customers (Operations, Engineering, Finance, Sales, and End Customers) and ensures a cost competitive continuity of supply for existing parts and services as well as for new product development and introduction.

Develop, negotiate, and administer contracts for key electronics suppliers; manage supplier base.

Lead supplier development and execution of the strategic sourcing strategy of Electronic Vehicle Charging System.

Develop commodity strategies based on organization’s volumes or volumes of future acquisitions.

Identify areas of risk within supply chain; implement appropriate mitigation measures.

Maintain knowledge of market industry trends within area of expertise and communicate potential impact on business.

Monitor changes affecting supply and demand, track market conditions, price trends, and futures markets.

Monitor supplier market characteristics regularly; identifies opportunities resulting from market shifts and takes advantage of such shifts.

Have a strong understanding of the global and domestic economic landscape, at both country of production and vendor/factory matrix levels. Capable of synthesizing knowledge of global landscape and business strategies to develop a global/vendor matrix plan that meets current sourcing needs and positions the business for optimal results in future landscapes.

Work collaboratively with all functions, including but not limited to engineering, operations, product teams and users to ensure internal customer needs are met.

Manage supplier performance (quality, delivery, total cost)

Maintain overall supplier relationships, establish annual cost-out, quality, and on time delivery targets with key suppliers. Provide regular performance feedback to suppliers, Quality Business Reviews (QBR’s) and drive corrective actions as required.

Enforce terms and conditions of purchase orders and other agreements and compliance with legal requirements and Company policy. Make sure parts are set up properly, supplier master etc. and in the ERP system.

Resolve nonconformance issues, back-charges and claims in a timely manner to minimize the Company's exposure.

Develop supplier spend reports to identify targeted improvements, leverages value for the company.

Lead Continuous Improvement events with suppliers; improves total cost of ownership.

Manage cost and assets (cost, productivity, inventory)

Implement sourcing design changes to improve reliability in operations and reductions in costs.

Work with operations and business team to design optimal source points and shipping arrangements.

Operate daily to meet reliability objectives for customer supply.

Works with the Operations team to maximize value across the supply chain and drive a culture of continual improvement.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related area. MBA Desirable.

7+ years of progressive sourcing, and contracting experience, including extensive experience developing and executing strategic sourcing plans and negotiation experience.

Experience with electronic contract manufacturers strongly desired. Experience with EV contracts/suppliers strongly desired.

3+ years of experience managing Electrical and Electronic categories.

3+ years of leadership experience.

Creative in expanding a diverse supplier spend.

Skills to analyze supplier financial information and capability.

Experience setting challenging goals & objectives, identify metrics and measures progress, and delivering results.
