HR Business Partner - DACH (m/f/d)

The Role

 

In this role, you’ll be responsible to provide complete HRBP to support our Sales & Service organization in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.   You’ll have the opportunity to develop your professional career working directly with the Zone management team  and in close collaboration with the HR Team across Europe.  

 

What you will do:

  • Part of the extended DACH management team
  • Recruitment & retention: partner with the TA team in Barcelona and be responsible for parts of the interview process, offer creation and the onboarding of new joiners
  • Performance Management & Employee Relations: tracking performance management issues and processes. Managing disciplinary and absences etc.
  • Learning & Development: Track L&D activities, coordination of training events and material; identify areas that need attention and improvement
  • Bonus & recognition programs: Give advice on reward topics and support employees on company benefits
  • Policy & procedure implementation: Ensure all company policies and procedures are up to date and in line with current employment law
  • Payroll: Oversee payroll with HR Specialist and external 3rd party

 

What you need to have:

  • Proven track record of a minimum 5 years as a HR Business Partner within a matrix, international and sales focused organization. Experience in US companies is advantageous
  • Solid understanding of employment law in Germany (knowledge of Swiss and Austrian employment law is a plus or it will have to be acquired)
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with the members of the management team. Confident in advising managers on all aspects of HR, especially people management and development
  • Proven experience in managing business transfer, redundancy or other relevant HR projects. Experience in change management is a plus
  • A professional and commercial approach to HR, with the ability to deliver high employee satisfaction, appropriate development and reward for individuals
  • Fluent in German and English is mandatory
  • Regular travel to our office close to Karlsruhe is required
