Core Responsibilities

  • Monitoring of the remediation status of SOX deficiencies and timely escalation as needed.
  • Assists the Business Process Controls Lead in reporting related activities/tasks.
  • Pro-active collaboration with DBS Operations in identifying control process improvement opportunities.
  • Supports the timely facilitation of requirements arising from assurance and consulting engagements.
  • Coordinates with DBS operations in the timely completion of the quarterly access review for ERPs.
  • Coordinates with the Business Process Improvement (BPI) team and tracks the completion status of control impact of continuous improvement initiatives/projects.
  • Assists the annual segregation of duties (SOD) review.
  • Attends meetings with Business Process Control Lead or other stakeholders.
  • Other ad hoc and agreed-upon projects and/or initiatives as assigned.

Technical Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Business Management or related field preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus.
  • Minimum five (5) years experienced in the field of audit, controls and risk management preferably in a shared service organization.
  • Audit background from reputable audit firms is a plus.
  • Experience in managing data in large ERP systems, Oracle EBS and Kingdee preferred.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Excel (Ex: Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Charts and Graphs etc.).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in conducting and facilitating presentations to internal and external stakeholders
