Key Account Manager - Oceania

The Role

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for leading and developing strategic and large national accounts, with two Indirect Channel partners in the Oceania Zone, whilst driving Software Solutions Sales.

 

This role will focus on developing and executing a strategic sales plan, including detailed initiatives, to maximise Markem-Imaje’s coverage of the territory. They will do this through direct and indirect channels, in order to meet the revenue, profit and growth targets of the assigned territories.

 

What you will do:

  • Grow share of wallet through active engagement and coverage of Key accounts through your direct presence and in collaboration with the direct and indirect sales teams.
  • Build understanding of the competition, market trends and opportunities to further develop Sales strategies across the identified verticals, territories.
  • Establish and maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge with a focus on software solutions to have meaningful conversations with prospects and truly understand their needs and/or pain points.
  • Work closely with cross-functional team members in driving business growth and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Fully utilize and stay up to date with all CRM (Salesforce.com), funnel management and forecast related tasks to enable you to provide an accurate forecast for each month and quarter ahead.
  • Execute a detailed cadence with both Direct and Indirect teams with the insights gained using business tools, including Power BI and SalesForce.com, in mapping sales efficiency as well as sales activities and target tracking.
  • Support Distributors as necessary to maximise their performance while holding them accountable for their targets.
  • Ensure that all activities are conducted in compliance with all company policies and applicable laws.

  • Strong financial knowledge to deal with financial buyers and make informed financial discussion that can help differentiate the Company from our competitors.

What you need to have:

  • Significant experience in Solution Sales with exposure to Key Accounts & Channel Management within a technology company with complex B2B interactions with proven track record of success.
  • Experience working in global matrix organisation MNC/international group handling big strategic accounts preferably in FMCG or large industrial space.
  • Experience selling software as part of solutions.
