JOB SUMMARY:
Production Worker II is responsible for helping assemble and prepare products for shipment. Their duties include placing raw materials or products into manufacturing machines to aid the assembly process, packaging finished products and organizing them for shipments and completing checks on equipment and products to ensure quality production. This position tends to special purpose machines moving, loading and unloading materials needed and produced in this production equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned)
- Mastered Production Worker I role.
- Move and/or assist moving material needed in production machines in an assigned production area.
- Load and unload material in an assigned production machine(s)
- Assemble and prepare frames, glass or door packs
- Complete quality check assurance on goods and products
- Perform transactions in MRP system
- Training employees in Production Worker I role and provides support of the day-to-day production needs
- Provide support to leads. May provide coverage during their absence
- Other duties may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: |
H.S. diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience |
Experience: |
1-3 years’ work experience in the Production Worker I role in manufacturing environment. Experience in glass manufacturing desired |

Basic PC skills and experience with MRP systems |

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time up to 10 hours/day, to walk up to 10 hours/day and/or sit for up to 30-60 minutes/day, twisting or bending up to 10 hours/day, overhead work up to 10 hours as needed per production area.
- Ability to lift/pull/push/carry 50 lbs. up to 20 % of the shift.
- Ability to reach with arms and hands; bend, kneel, and crouch, up to 40 % of the shift.
- Ability to use hands to handle, grasp, manipulate, grip, and use tools, up to 90% of the shift.
- Performs repetitive tasks on assembly line unit using hands, for up to 90% of the shift.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing/production shop environment as job duties require. May be exposed to loud operating machinery and hot/cold temperatures.
- Use proper PPE as required per company policy

Salary Range : $19.50 - $20.80
