Markem-Imaje is looking for a senior Account Manager responsible for enabling and accelerating sales by driving Markem-Imaje strategy execution, taking into account the local dynamics and trends – maximizing revenue with profitable growth.

You’ll have the opportunity to use Markem-Imaje proven sales process to manage the assigned territory (North of Italy) in collaboration with the Sales Area Manager.


What you will do:


  • Responsible for account development, management and acquisition of customers within a defined territory to maximize account revenue and achieve sales results.
  • Establish professional relationships with existing customers and prospect accounts, lead meetings and negotiations to pursue business opportunities and to protect the company´s business interest.
  • Capacity to develop consultative sales techniques and offer ad-hoc solutions, including hardware, software, consumables and services on CAPex and OPex solutions.
  • Continuous communication with the Sales Area Manager, the rest of the Sales Team and other departments: Presales, Technical, S&S, Customer Care, etc.
  • Reports to the Sales Area Manager.



What you need to have:


  • 5+ years of proven success experience in a similar position.
  • Engineering degree or Bachelor´s degree in business or Marketing will be valuable.
  • Knowledge of consultative sales techniques and value selling propositions: ad-hoc and lease solutions.
  • Result driven and customer –oriented: win-win relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with an ERP system are necessary. Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
  • Availability and ability to work remotely whilst maintaining own initiative, fluent and efficient communication with the line manager and the team.
  • Availability to travel on a regular basis. Staying overnight might be requested 20-30% of the time.
  • Native level of Italian.
  • Intermediate level of English. Knowledge of Spanish would be a plus.
