The payment security engineer has a complete responsibility on the payment applications running on our payment terminals and our payment servers. You take responsibility of projects within payment engineering from start to finish. You collaborate in the functional requirements, think about architecture, secure the PCI regulations for the different platforms both on terminal and host level. You take the engineering lead during PCI certifications for the different payment product lines. Together with engineering you take the responsibility for the EMV certifications and the different payment card end to end tests like MasterCard M-tip and Visa ADTV.

You will be part of a bigger payment application team that takes quality and of course security very seriously.


Key Responsibilities

·         Advice and guard the engineers about the PCI regulations during the implementation of new payment applications for our payment terminals and for our payment end host / switching host.

·         Coordinate together with engineering and product management the PCI audits for the different payment product lines.

·         Coordinate with engineering the EMV certifications and the different card payment end to end tests


Profile - Knowledge

·         Higher education (Bachelor/Master) in IT or software development (or equivalent by experience)

·         PCI regulations, security standards, different encryption methods

·         Payment card handling: EMV contact and contactless

·         Payment host protocols

·         Having programming skills is a plus

·         General knowledge of MS office

·         Fluent in Dutch and English

·         Open to working in a global team. (colleagues located on different locations in the world)

·         Paying attention to detail

·         Ability to document technical processes and procedures
