The Inside Sales Manager plays a critical role in supporting MPG’s Business Development and Sales functions. This position is responsible for managing customer quotations, ensuring timely communication, and maintaining accurate sales documentation. The role serves as a key liaison between customers, Business Development Managers, Engineering, Operations, and Manufacturing teams to ensure seamless execution of sales processes and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quotation Management: Independently develop and manage customer quotations, pricing strategies, and proposal documentation.
- Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary liaison for customer inquiries, status updates, expedite requests, and portal management. Coordinate independently with sales reps for support as required.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Order Coordinators, Engineering, and Operations to ensure accurate and timely communication of order status and technical requirements.
- ERP & Data Management: Create and manage part numbers in the ERP system; maintain accurate sales and forecast data.
- Forecasting & Trend Analysis: Own monthly forecast updates and analyze customer trends to inform strategic sales planning.
- Sales Strategy Support: Provide detailed input for Business Development Managers for negotiations and long-term account planning.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in sales operations, documentation, and customer communication workflows.
- Reporting: Contribute to monthly sales reports and performance metrics with actionable insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in inside sales, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
- Proficient in interpreting contracts, technical documents, and government regulations.
- Experience with ERP systems and part number creation.
- Ability to prepare reports, spreadsheets, and sales documentation.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience coordinating quotations and managing customer relationships.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and technical product knowledge.
- Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
Work Arrangement : Onsite
Pay Range: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 annually
Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
