Summary:
The Sr. Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring supplier quality by using defined systems and tools to assess and manage supplier performance.
Typical Responsibilities:
Team leader
Use 8D problem solving methods
Lead problem solving efforts
Independently manage customer programs representing Quality
Represent the company and department in internal and external audits
Act as audit lead
Track, trend, and analyze QMS metrics
Manage approved supplier list and supplier review
Manage Non-Conformance and Corrective Action systems
Act as the Quality representative for MRB
Teach Quality tools and methods to others within the company
Review inspection data
Review and maintain QMS
RMA RCCA
DFAR and regulation compliance
Review and maintain QMS
Additional Responsibilities:
Provide quality input and support to internal teams
Host supplier and government source inspections
Prepare and/or approve documents and document packages
Represent Quality in customer meetings including but not limited to: CDR, MRR, TRR and FRB’s as required
Preferred Qualifications:
CQE certification
10-15 years minimum experience in Quality Engineering
5-10 years minimum experience in highly regulated industries such as Aerospace AS9100, Medical Device ISO 13485 or similarly certified companies
Extensive auditing experience/certification
Detail oriented and highly organized
Highly skilled and capable with computer use including Excel, task management, report writing/formatting, and MS Office suite. .

Able to type on a computer keyboard
Able to communicate through a telephone
Able to communicate with co-workers
Able to work on-site and remote
Work Arrangement : Onsite
Salary Range : $100,000.00 - $125,000.00
