Typical Responsibilities:

 

  • Performs a variety of functions involving RF, DC, vibration, thermal vacuum, and power tests.
  • Works with engineers and Design personnel as required.
  • Sets up test stations as needed. 
  • Tests prototype, pre-production RF relays using approved test procedures and/or customer specifications.
  • Travel to outside test facilities to conducts environmental testing.
  • Provides technical advice to engineers as needed.
  • Maintains and calibrates test equipment and maintains appropriate records.
  • Has knowledge of how to run vibration profiles and input them.
  • Knows how to operate and use Network Analyzers, Signal generators, power meters, DAQ units, and basic DMM’s.
  • May install and/or relocate test equipment as required
  • Write test procedures and review before being approved.
  • Must know the wire color code.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Supervision:  Does not supervise anyone

 

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

 

  • High School Graduate or equivalent with good electrical and mechanical aptitude and Comprehension.
  • Three to five years operational experience in all phases of departmental responsibility.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Verification of special requirements may be requested at the discretion of the company.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.

 

 

Physical Requirements:

 

  • Able to read documents and computer screens
  • Able to move around an office building and up stairs
  • Able to sit/stand for long periods of time
  • Able to type on a computer keyboard
  • Able to use excel and word.
  • Able to communicate with co-workers
  • Able to connect and remove small coaxial and electronic connectors

 

Work Arrangement : Onsite  

Salary Range : $28.00   - $38.00
