The Role


To accelerate our growth in laser application area, we’re looking for a well-rounded Global Laser Application Sales Development Manager to be responsible for creating the tools, content, and processes to enable our Sales channels for maximum success around the World.

As one of the key pillars of Markem-Imaje Global Sales Organization, reporting to the Global Application Sales Manager, you will be driving the demand in laser applications, making your product “fly off of the shelf” thanks to developing tailored value propositions and related sales collateral.


What you will do:


  • Provide guidance to Product Management on the solution set that needs to be developed & required deliverables to address the target application.
  • Partner with Sales and Product Management teams to define the ‘Selling Cycle’ for the assigned applications – from ‘Lead to Cash’.
  • Define sales enablement content and partner with Product Management and Marketing teams to develop the Sales Playbooks and Toolkits for the target application.
  • Enable and accelerate the entire sales process across all our sales channels by helping the team clearly illustrate the value proposition to our customers.
  • Improve ‘Value Selling’ capabilities of the local sales teams, through the delivery of application sales trainings in the Zones – occasionally combined with customer visits.
  • Coach the Sales team on the Sales process and solve potential bottlenecks.
  • Conduct frequent reviews of large deals focusing on the target applications.


What you need to have:


  • Bachelor or Master’s degree required (in Sales or engineering)
  • 5+ years working experience in B2B industrial sales, sales enablement, or similar role
  • Experience in successfully selling laser technology for coding and marking preferred
  • Track record of creating impactful sales enablement campaigns
  • Demonstrated history working with a dynamic sales team with multiple sales channels
  • Experience in selling new high-tech solutions and communicating features, advantages, and benefits
  • Strong interest in learning and understanding technical topics related to the target application
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills – in English as a minimum
  • Be a highly driven self-starter, motivated, with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively operate as a matrix manager in coordinating people and resources from multiple areas of the company
