The Role
You’ll be performing solutions for laser marking in wide range of applications and being a technical support for end users of laser marking systems.
You’ll have an opportunity to work with talented engineers in a local and global environment, building complex products, from proof of concept to production, across a variety of printing technologies targeted to meet our customers’ needs and the strategic objectives of Solaris Laser.
What you will do:
- Perform application feasibility analyses for sales opportunities. Check the quality of the marking defined by the customer to determine the feasibility, required equipment, and required setup to achieve the objectives for the Coding & Marking Solutions.
- Supply high quality technical Sample & Feasibility reports with complete descriptions of solutions including benefits and weaknesses of each solution tested.
- Work closely with the Commercial Groups to properly define the scope of work for complex projects, and fully align testing and feasibility priorities with the priorities of the region supported.
- Adjusting, calibrating, setting optical components of laser marking systems.
- Technical support for Solaris Laser business partners and end-users in the operating and troubleshooting of laser marking systems.
- Support for pre-sales and final installation of laser marking systems on production line at customer site.
What you need to have:
- Associate degree in Engineering (Mechatronics, Optics).
- Previous experience in Software, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering welcome.
- Manual skills (operation of simple tools).
- Attention to details and good problem-solving skills.
- Must have the ability to work in a team environment and independently.
- Must be self-driven and motivated.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational and time management skills.
- Intermediate English level.
- Cat. B. driving license.
