Junior Mechanical Engineer

The Role

The Mechanical Engineer plays a vital role as a member of a global, interdisciplinary, flexible team designing, implementing, validating, and developing mechanical systems for Markem-Imaje's current and future laser printers.

During the beginning period, the Mechanical Engineer, working with talented engineers in a global environment, supports the team in organizing and creating technical documentation, learns about the products, participates in design and research work, and gradually moves on to building complex products, from proposed new innovative solutions through proof of concept to production in the form of projects carried out together with the team.

What you will do:

• Creation and management of production drawings,
• Analysis, control, and correction of mechanical documentation,
• Implementation of new projects, construction of prototypes,
• Design of mechanical components and laboratory experiments related to mechanical engineering to support design validation and reliability goals,
• Ordering components for prototypes and cooperation with subcontractors,
• Support of the sales department in the preparation of documentation and visualization for offers,
• Assistance in the process of installation of equipment on production lines.

What you need to have:

• Education in the field of mechatronics, mechanical, automotive, or electrical engineering,  
• Good knowledge of Autodesk Inventor, the CAD design software environment, is an important requirement,
• Ability to conduct projects in the field of mechanics,
• Experience in working with various mechanical documentation within an industrial environment,
• Manual abilities to assemble designed prototypes,
• Knowledge of SAP, Windchill, or Agile JIRA would be an added advantage.
• Polish and English languages skills.
