The Role


As part of the Global PE team, you will be based on Solaris site (manufacturing Laser Printers) in Warsaw and reporting to the Printer PE Leader in Europe.


Your priorities will be to support global Supply Chain Manufacturing through the creation of PE data, drive the deployment of site Manufacturing processes and the industrialization of new products.


What you will do:


  • Create and implement Manufacturing instructions, manufacturing BOM, Toolings, Poka Yoke, Equipment’s for existing products
  • Work closely with Master data team, defining and collecting manufacturing data
  • Be key contributor in deployment of the Supply chain organization at Solaris site
  • Learn, develop PE global printer knowledge & competencies through strong connection with Product Divisions (Laser, TTO, Print & Apply, Hot melt) worldwide
  • Lead and/or contribute to a variety of manufacturing projects, ensuring that the processes are robust, efficient and properly documented. These could be for new product introductions (NPI) or engineering changes of our current products.
  • Work closely with our contract manufacturers (China and eastern Europe) to support the operational activity & optimize the current manufacturing infrastructure.
  • Deploy workstations and production line following Lean principles (TAKT time)
  • Work in a global, cross-functional environment across multiple disciplines for effective execution.
  • Support the new product introduction in production: labor, quality and schedule on track
  • Perform PFMEA’s and implement Control Plan for product and production line (packaging robots, automatic lines…), designing-documenting-implementing product improvements as needed for ease of manufacturing, cost reduction, and ease-of-use
  • Perform Root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Support Manufacturing, Field Service and Repair Centers
  • As part of Global organization, you will support other sites ad hoc.



What you need to have:


  • Degree in engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering for complex electro-mechanical systems (Medical devices, Aeronautics, contract manufacturers, etc.)
  • Proven experience in successful development of manufacturing processes.
  • Lean experience: already developed manufacturing cells with Lean tools
  • Experience in project management will be a big plus.
  • Good knowledge of methodologies: Six Sigma, lean, DFM/DFA, PFMEA, DOE, etc.
  • Good knowledge of CAD (Inventor& Creo), WindChill, JIRA, SAP
  • Fluent in English and Polish.
  • Availability to travel internationally: 5-10%.
