Are you an effective Procurement Specialist looking for a new challenge in an international industrial environment? A person who understands MRP and has experience with purchasing of components (electronics, mechanics, etc.) from global suppliers?

In this role you’ll be… responsible to secure the availability of a portfolio of direct materials for multiple lines of Solaris Laser and Markem-Imaje products distributed worldwide.

You’ll have an opportunity to… show your capability to build and manage a diverse material portfolio and collaborate with local and international suppliers to maximize
the inventory turns and material availability rates.

You should possess at least 3 years of experience as procurement officer or in a similar role in industrial manufacturing environment.

Principal Activities / Duties / Responsibilities:

• Lead the local procurement activities for direct items (PCBA, industrial CPU, displays, power supplies, laser systems, galvanoscanners, cable and wire harness, optical components, etc.)

• Negotiate tactically terms & conditions independently within different materials categories.

• Proactively manages contracts and processes supplier invoices

• Place orders to internal and external suppliers within agreed contract terms and inventory management policies.

• Monitor deliveries and order confirmations; pro-actively identify supply risks and perform mitigation actions to ensure supply continuity.

• Prepare, communicate and discuss monthly forecasts for external suppliers.

• Analyze supplier delivery performance and elaborate joined improvement plans.

• Define and deploy improvement initiatives to maximize inventory turns and material availability rate.

Education and/or Experience Required:

• 3+ years of related experience in purchasing, sourcing, or material planning role.

• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP principles and systems.

• Experience buying across various commodity categories (PCBA, industrial CPU, display, power supplies, laser systems, galvanoscanners, cable/wire harness, etc.)

• Technical background highly desired

• Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings, formal specifications, purchase orders terms and conditions, datasheets and material specifications.

• Good knowledge and experience of MS Excel (LOOKUP, PIVOT).

• English on the good business communication level.

• Able to work in a matrix environment and to multi-task.
