Product Development (Technical) Project Manager

Solaris Laser, owned by Markem-Imaje, is a world-leading manufacturer of industrial fiber CO2 laser coding, marking and engraving system. We specialize in development of laser systems for Static and Dynamic product coding, whie products are in movement.

Markem-Imaje delivers fully integrated solutions that enable product quality and safety, regulatory and retailer compliance, better product recalls and improved manufacturing processes.

The Technical Project Manager will oversee innovative and strategic New Product/New Technology Introduction projects. The incumbent will interact with Senior personnel across an international environment at Markem-Imaje, from Sales and Marketing to Supply Chain to establish a reliable, cost effective, and producible product at launch whilst using own industry expertise to improve all aspects of project planning and resource management.

What you will do:

• Execute successfully a portfolio of initiatives and projects that are aligned with Solaris Laser and Markem-Imaje strategic goals.
• Consolidate in exhaustive manner the needs of the future solution.
• Manage efficiently the specifications all along the projects.
• Size and organize the projects even with a macro-description of the needs: resources, expenses, investments.
• Lead the definition and update of the business case.
• Execute the projects according to the QCD (Quality-Cost-Delivery) targets based on efficient management of planning, risks, requirements, quality demonstration, etc.
• Communicate efficiently across the organization to inform and to obtain key decisions.
• Lead the post-launch activities during a determined period
• Lead the development team in assessing risks and tradeoffs to effectively manage the project development budget and product cost on the development timeline.
• Communicate to Product Division and Supply Chain leadership the status of the project schedule, risks, and budget.

What you need to have:

• Engineer or Master’s in science education level.
• Project management and stage gate process experience for large scale electro-mechanical projects. PMI certified preferred.
• 5 years + experience in development partnership management.
• Strong business acumen covering Product Marketing, Supply chain and Finance.
• Significant awareness on Critical To Quality approach such design review, FMEA, capability.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong leadership including result driven attitude, team building and conflict management.
• Polish and English languages are a must.
