Production Planner

As our future Production Planner, you will play key role in optimizing production efficiency, workflow, and resource utilization on the production line.

 

 

What you will do:

 

  • Production Layout and Design: Develop comprehensive production layout plans that optimize space utilization, workflow efficiency, and production capacity. Main collaborate with production, engineering to ensure that production design meets operational requirements and safety regulations.
  • Facility Expansion and Modification: Assess current facility infrastructure and capacity constraints to identify opportunities for expansion or modification. Develop plans for facility upgrades, expansions, or reconfigurations to support future growth and increased production demand your production line.
  • Material Flow Analysis: Conduct material flow analysis to optimize the movement of materials, parts, and components throughout the assembly line. Identify bottlenecks, congestion points, and inefficiencies in material Flow. Develop solutions to improve productivity and reduce lead times.
  • Resource Planning: Coordinate with production planning and scheduling teams to align site planning efforts with production schedules and resource requirements. Develop plans for the allocation of manpower, equipment, and materials to support production goals and meet customer demand.
  • Cost Analysis and Budgeting: Basic conduct cost analysis to evaluate the headcount feasibility of production line planning initiatives and projects. Basic Cost estimates for production planning activities and monitor expenditures to ensure that projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, logistics, quality, and procurement to gather input, address concerns, and align production planning efforts.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate production line layout, design, and processes to identify opportunities for improvement. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality within the assembly plant.

 

What you need to have:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, production management or a related field.
  • Proven experience in site planning and production optimization, preferably in an assembly plant or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and process improvement techniques.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, in particular MS EXCEL.
  • Basic knowledge in the use of MRP tools
  • Basic Knowledge of the SAP system, PP and MM modules would be an advantage.
  • Basic project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and standards related to facility design and industrial operations.
  • Good command of English (minimum B2 level).
  • Readiness to work from our current location at 39 Farbiarska Street in Warsaw till the 2nd quarter of 2025, when we are opening our new facility at 105 Katowicka Avenue in Kajetany.
