Reliability Engineer

The Role

The Reliability Engineer is part of the team in Poland, collaborating with engineering and marketing team in the area of new laser marking and coding solutions. This person will be responsible for the operations related to testing, adjusting and calibrating components intended for future Solaris Laser and Markem-Imaje devices.
You’ll have an opportunity to work with talented engineers in a local and global environment, building complex products, from proof of concept to production. Your work will have a significant impact on the direction of the development and successful product design.

What you will do:

• Testing of laser marking systems
• Testing of accessories for laser marking systems
• Proposing solutions for applications and devices
• Testing of software and user interface features
• Strong cooperation with software team
• Responsibility for test planning
• Participation in automated tests
• Preparation of special marking samples, preparation of technologies and plans for samples
• Generating ideas for systems improvement
• Contributing to new products presentations
• Adjusting, calibrating optical components
• Testing new developments in laser marking systems
• Testing reliability of new components and complete solutions
• Support in prototype systems testing installations on production lines
• Participation in training in the operation, installation, and maintenance of prototype laser marking systems

What you need to have:

• Engineering degree
• Basic knowledge of optics and electronics
• At least intermediate knowledge of technical products, ideally in laser coding and marking product range
• Independence, reliability and conscientiousness in performing duties
• Excellent communication skills
• Creativity and perceptiveness
• Ability to work in a team
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Polish and English languages at high level
• Computer proficiency (MS Office package)
• Manual skills (operation of simple tools)
