Technician (Reliability Testing)

As a Technician (Reliability Testing), you will work within our reliability engineering team to validate industrial marking and coding equipment for both Research and Product Development programs. You will implement test methods for increased reliability and compliance of our product lines.

What you will do:

• Read, understand, and execute test protocols
• Set-up of data acquisition equipment and instrumentation
• Document test results in books, electronic logs, and reports
• Maintain lab equipment including chambers and instrumentation
• Provide understandable feedback to development and reliability engineers
• Work hands-on with Markem-Imaje coders, PC’s and development tools
• Work hands-on with PLC’s and other electrical hardware like breadboards, Arduino, etc.
• Other duties as required towards organizational goals

What you need to have:

• Technical Education, preferably Degree in an engineering discipline or software test development
• experience on an engineering team in manufacturing environment would be an advantage
• Electro-Mechanical Technician skills
• Ability to communicate in English (At least B2 level)
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook
• End-to-end Software test experience considered a plus
• Experience with PLC programming and interface considered a plus
• Experience with QTest, Fitnesse/Python, Atlassian JIRA a plus
• Experience with networks and communication protocols a plus
