Markem-Imaje is seeking an SAP FI/CO Senior Business Analyst.

Job Location: Watertown (USA).

 

 As a Senior SAP FI/CO Business Analyst, you will focus on a breadth of SAP functions.

 This role will include functional analysis, requirements gathering, definition, and SAP module configuration and testing.

This will require that you have a good understanding of business process and flows which will allow you to assist in creating and maintaining solutions for business functions and to identify weak areas and gaps.

Set-up, documentation, configuration, migration, and reconciliation will all be a part of your responsibilities, knowledge in security and authorization a must.

Project management will be an important part of your activity.

Then, candidate must have a huge experience in project definition, management in autonomy.

The ideal candidate will be capable of cross-function knowledge and a self-guided individual who takes initiative.

Preferred profile is a candidate with dual experience FICO, FI (50%) & CO (50%).

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the primary liaison between IT and Finance to develop SAP FI/CO functionality.
  • Configure, support and enhance various functional aspects of the SAP system landscape including troubleshooting of application problems, performing system configuration, analysis of business requirements and their translations into SAP specific context.
  • Act as liaison with business for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve software problems.
  • Develop requirements, business specifications, and testing documents
  • Manage daily issues and problem solving related to FICO modules.
  • Assists in the execution of system processes to support interfaces, reporting requirements and year-end reporting.
  • Document AS-IS and TO-BE by identifying gaps, issues and work around solutions.
  • Collaborate with Functional and Technical teams on testing; unit, integration, functional, acceptance testing, regression, database, analyze results, manage defects and resolve issues.
  • Build solutions by adhering to SAP standards and best practices
  • Ensures internal controls and standards are maintained.
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with clients and technical teams to prioritize requirements, evaluate potential solutions, define a proposed solution, propose quick fixes, and develop model business processes.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 8 years of direct work experience on teams as a business analyst.
  • Both Finance & Controlling expected experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP Purchase-to-Payment (PTP) and product life-cycle management.
  • Cross-functional knowledge of integration points between SAP FICO, MM, and SD
  • Understanding of logistics invoice verification and inventory control.
  • Understanding of SAP Production Panning, and Materials Management workflow.
  • Process-driven analysis skills and background in various requirement discovery methods
  • Professional experience on management of SAP projects.
  • Understand technical jargon and possess the ability to communicate it in layman’s terms.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with clients, team members, and management
  • Ability to analyze and document complex business processes
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Can work well under minimal direction
  • MBA, Bachelor or higher in Accounting business (MBO), or a related field.

The office is situated close to Boston with easy access by car or public transportation.
