<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">An inspector’s primary function is to complete the in process and final inspection of electronic & electro mechanical assemblies.


<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Position is responsible for inspecting electronic assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering documents, work instructions, customer specifications and industry standards.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Verify conformance and write nonconformance reports when discrepancies are found.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Verify rework/repair has been completed in accordance with specified requirements.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Report inspections and move product in the proper system.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Stamp/sign off on inspection steps upon completion, approving and releasing the product for shipment.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Interface with production and engineering on production and product problems. 
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Assist production by providing explanations and/or instructions on quality issues and production issues.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Work closely with quality engineering and manufacturing engineering to improve the process and design for manufacturability.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Spot audit in the production area to ensure that the proper instructions are being followed and to provide feedback to management to improve the process/system.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Work closely with engineering on engineering builds and prototypes to point out potential production, quality and reliability problems.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Assist management with implementing process controls, improvement activities, writing work instruction and inspection instructions.


<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Basic understanding of IPC-A-610.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Proficient ability to utilize a PC and the Microsoft Office Suite software package.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Ability to read prints.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Good manual dexterity.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Able to manage time and priorities effectively.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Good problem solving skills.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Ability to demonstrate effective written and spoken communications skills.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">ISO9001 and AS9100 training, preferred.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Must be able to use basic hand tools/gauges.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Must be able to use microscope.

  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Must be a US person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">High school diploma or GED required.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">A minimum of two (2) years related quality control inspection experience in the electronics manufacturing industry required.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Experience with the use of inspection tools required.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Work Schedules:


  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Normal work hours are 5:30 am to 4:10 pm.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Normal workdays are Monday - Thursday.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Lunch period is 40 minutes per shift, unpaid.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Breaks are two 15-minute per shift.
