This VP, Human Resources for OPW leads the organization's human resources organization with responsbility for all human resources activities across the Operating Company.  Reporting to the President of OPW, this role is a key business partner providing strategic vision and direction for the core functional areas of organizational capability, talent acquisiton and development, employee relations, engagement and total rewards all designed to enable growth of our people and the business. 


Key responsibilities include:


  • Provide leadership to the organization's human reources team while fostering a culture of high-performance, accountability, professional development and high ethical standards. 
  • Develop and drive the HR strategies, initiatives and services to support the business' strategic goal deployment and annual operations plan objectives in the various areas of talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, total rewards and organization development. 
  • Lead the talent management and succession planning process across the Company with a focus on developing employees and future leaders for the organization.
  • Proactively deliver organizational design, total reward and human captial  strategies for purposes of workforce planning, deployment and retention designed to address current and future needs of the business.
  • Foster a culture of respecting and valuing people in a diverse and globally orientated environment. 
  • Leads the organization capability planning and execution across the Company
  • Ensures positive employee relations across the Company
  • Provide leadership and strategic support related to M&A activity in a high growth environment.


Qualifications and Desired Characteristics:  

  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, labor relations, organizational development or other similar discipline, MBA or other advanced degree preferred
  • 15+ years of experience in Human Resources
  • 5+ years in leadership position
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, including international.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong strategic and business acumen
  • Global mindset, prior experience working with global teams is preferred
  • Executive leadership presence
  • Outstanding communication, coaching, influencing and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization 
  • Ability to work in a collaborative manner

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to quickly assess situations and make judgments based on practice or previous experience
