Position Summary:

The Aftermarket & Service Supervisor is responsible for all worldwide aftermarket and service activities. Additionally, the Aftermarket & Service supervisor will assist all Field Service Team in a wide variety of activities including start up, commissioning, trouble shooting and inspection of spare parts product and support for our national and international customer base.


It is important that the Aftermarket & Service Supervisor has the ability to work autonomously, has outstanding communication skills, detail oriented, a problem solver with superior customer service skills and the ability to work constructively with a variety of stakeholders with a tactful, positive approach.


The Aftermarket & Service Supervisor will work within the guidelines established by the Manager and will follow established procedures.


Key Job Responsibilities included but not limited to:

  • Promotes safety awareness with other members of the organization.  Promotes accident prevention and employee involvement in regard to a safe work environment.
  • Supports the continuous improvement roadmap for the applications engineering team. Leverages continuous improvement tools to drive continued improvements.
  • Oversee quoting and Order Entry of Spare Parts orders.
  • Prepare quotations for Field Service visits including parts labor and travel expenses.
  • Prepare quotations for repair services, including pricing for a new replacement unit.
  • Supervise the activity of the Repair Assemblers.
  • Provide answers to customer inquiries regarding the maintenance and operation of CAMCO Products and accessories.
  • Seek to understand the needs of customers to identify opportunities to expand aftermarket sales.
  • Consider promotions, blanket quotes, quantity discounts, etc. to attract additional business.
  • Approve and dispatches Field Service Technicians for service calls, both warranty and paid.
  • Review and approve expense reports for Field Service Technicians.
  • Arrange for airlines, lodging and other travel requirement for the Field Service Technicians.
  • Administers tracking of warranty expenses.
  • Assist in keeping the Technical Manuals correctly published.
  • Identify opportunities for design and process improvements.

Job Requirements:


  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in managing aftermarket/service function related to precision product preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Successful track record of managing projects to achieve schedule and cost targets per customer requirements while collaborating with leaders and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of cross-functional disciplines such as procurement, engineering testing and operations to successfully plan and drive project execution.
  • Knowledge of engineering test standards, equipment needs and documentation for customer specific requirements.
  • Experience managing team members to develop service and action plans geared towards growth and margin improvement of aftermarket services.

  • Ability to assess and understand customer needs and industry trends that develop into new aftermarket product or service strategies.

Education and Certification Qualifications:

  • Associate/Bachelor’s degree required in a technical or business field.


Travel Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time domestically.
