THE OPPORTUNITY
Due to promotion, we are now looking for a new DEBURRER to join our highly skilled, friendly and results focused Machine Shop. Joining our 10 person strong team, you’ll support the making of our make metal housings for microwave filters, so they fit securely and withstand the challenges of their operating environments.
WHAT WILL I DO?
Working Monday – Friday on a day shift, you’ll work as part of the team to deliver our weekly Production and Machine Shop plan and priorities set by the Machine Shop Lead. By completing the following tasks, you’ll be deburring between 100 – 250 parts a day:
Using tap / pin gauges and calipers to ensure product conforms to specs.- Removing all sharp edges and burrs from machined components ensuring compliance with drawings/Info and workshop procedures.
- Cleaning parts to required standards before passing to the next stage of the production process in a clean and organised manner.
- Completing product batch quality checks and reporting issues.
- Fault finding, highlighting and resolving product issues and errors.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO BE SUCCESSFUL AND APPLY?
To be successful, you have a real eye for detail with the ability to continually focus on ensuring the highest quality deburring on every product, every time. To do this you are or ideally have the following:
Experience:
- Work-experience in an engineering, metal work or workshop environment completing the above responsibilities
- Team working and also working using your own initiative.
- Following instructions and diagrams.
- High attention to detail, and quality.
- Fault finding, problem solving and continuous improvement.
Work Arrangement : Onsite
