Quality Inspector

Our expertise is the design and manufacture of communications-based speciality products – engineered components and subsystems – for demanding military, space, commercial aerospace/industrial and telecom infrastructure applications where function and reliability are crucial.  

Due to our continuing growth , we are now recruiting a QUALITY INSPECTOR to join our team. In this key position, you’ll take an active role in ensuring we deliver outstanding quality products, first time, every time, protecting and connecting people around the world and in space.

                             With a focus on goods inward inspection, from the time we receive our parts, through assembly, test and final inspection, your exceptional eye for detail, understanding and application of quality standards, ability to spot

                             potential issues - talking them through clearly and helpfully with colleagues to achieve the right results, will mean we meet both BSC and customer requirements.

                              You’ll also be collecting, reviewing and reporting data to improve our processes and help in training and increasing colleague’s quality knowledge, understanding and application. Due to our customer requirements and the wide     variety of filters we make, every day will be interesting, different and with an opportunity to make a difference.

To be successful, you’ll be able to demonstrate the following:

• GCSE Maths and English  grades 4-9
• Knowledge and application of ISO Quality standards.
• Previous work-experience in a manufacturing environment including:
• Inspection experience in a mechanical machining or electronic soldering assembly background.
• Working to drawings and documents.
• High attention to detail, quality and right first time ethos.
• Fault finding/problem solving.
• Methodical, patient approach to work.
