OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking to recruit a new team member to our SALES TEAM in the role of SALES ADMINISTRATOR. This is for a fixed term expected to be until January 2027.Working

alongside the entire Sales team and often the first point of contact for our external customers, you’ll be completing a range of duties to ensure that first class customer service is

delivered. 

 

Based within the factory, every day will be busy and different, and your responsibilities include:

 

Use of data management systems – online and spreadsheets to:

  • Confirm customer needs (including application, quantities, specification and timescale,) to process customer quotes and convert to orders.
  • Provide first-line customer support to phone and email queries.
  • Log enquiries into our in-house sales system.
  • Produce quotations from the in-house systems,
  • Improving quote to purchase order conversion rates following up issued quotations.
  • Log customer purchase orders into the in-house sales system

 

To be successful, you’ll ideally have:

  • A passion for accurate, timely administration and associated word, excel and data input skills.
  • Have worked in a customer focussed, goal orientated environment, ideally in engineering or manufacturing.
  • Be confident to speak by phone, in person and writing to internal and external customers, developing and maintaining positive working relationships.
  • Have excellent personal organisation and time management skills

 

This is a full-time fixed term role, working Monday – Friday. You must have a right to work in the UK and be a UK or NATO national.
