Roles & Responsibilities:
• Conduct user research, create user personas, journey maps, and information architectures to inform design decisions. Design and develop intuitive, responsive user interfaces using modern design tools and front end technologies. Create user flows, wireframes, interactive.
• Prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts. Develop responsive UI components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks. Establish and document best practices for UI development focused on responsive design across multiple devices and screen sizes.
• Work directly with customers to gather feedback and iterate on designs based on user testing Results. Ensure consistent design language across products and platforms through effective implementation of design systems. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into design solutions. Present design concepts clearly to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively. Stay current with UX/UI trends, tools, and best practices through continuous learning. Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and component libraries. Ensure designs meet accessibility standards and are inclusive for all users. Create detailed design specifications and documentation for development teams.
• Perform competitor analysis and usability research to identify opportunities for improvement. Support the QA process by reviewing implemented designs and providing feedback. Mentor junior designers and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Participate in weekly department meetings to review progress on status and address any design challenges. Identify and implement processes that optimize user experience and operational effectiveness. Develop and contribute to initiatives ensuring continuous improvement in design processes across the organization. Engage on special projects as required.
Must Have Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with a minimum 10 years of experience or equivalent combination of education & experience and out of which minimum 3-5 years in Customer engagement. Prior experience in leading design initiatives and collaborating with development teams.
• Practical experience in the following: User-centered design methodologies and best practices Front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks. Creating responsive designs for multiple platforms and devices. Conducting usability testing and incorporating feedback.
• Demonstrated effective leadership, results oriented, and strong work ethic. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.Experience with Angular or other modern JavaScript frameworks . Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Ability to influence others, regardless of reporting authority. Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills. Experience working on cross-functional design teams. Experience in a global environment a plus. Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and designing for inclusivity.
